We just wanted calculators that actually work
SitNit is a free platform for online calculators — covering income tax, mortgages, health, fitness, math, and more. No sign-ups. No paywalls. No jargon. Just answers.
How this started
Shivam was trying to figure out his income tax one evening. He opened three different calculators. One was years out of date. One asked him to create an account. One gave him a number with no explanation of where it came from.
He’s a software engineer — so instead of complaining about it, he built something better.
SitNit launched in 2025 with a small set of financial calculators. Since then it’s grown to cover health and fitness, math, AI personal care tools, education, and financial tools for over 15 countries. Every tool is built from official government data — IRS, HMRC, Income Tax Department, ATO, IRAS, IRD — not rough estimates.
New tools go live every week. The goal hasn’t changed: give anyone, anywhere, a reliable answer without unnecessary barriers.
Who’s behind it

Shivam runs SitNit solo. He researches, builds, tests, and maintains every tool on the site. His background is in software engineering, with a particular focus on finance and tax systems, health tools, and AI-powered personal care features.
If a calculator is wrong, he wants to know immediately — which is why there’s a contact page and why he actually reads the messages.
